The Great Debate at OLA SuperConference

OK. I lost. It was close. But I lost the debate. Congrats to John Miedema my worthy opponent.

The audience was wonderful; thanks to all who came. It was crazy and fun and worth doing again sometime.

One Response to The Great Debate at OLA SuperConference

  1. John says:

Well, more like literacy won. I’m not being gracious. In a crowd of mostly librarians the forces of literacy were tilted in my favour, much as I expected. Actually the fact that literacy won by so little in this particular crowd gives me cause to stop and reflect. Things are not quite finished yet. I am “slow thinking” a follow-up. Thanks again for the debate.
